What is a dislocated shoulder?
A dislocated shoulder happens when the head of your upper arm bone has come out of the joint socket, according to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
Your shoulder can be partially or fully dislocated. Both can cause your shoulder to be in pain and to feel unsteady.
Talk to your doctor for more information about a dislocated shoulder.
