What is a MyChart E-Visit?
MyChart E-Visit is a service offered to help save patient’s time and energy when they are in need of health care for common, minor health issues.
E-Visit allows patients to virtually “visit” their health care provider through the Premier MyChart online portal instead of physically going into an office.
These visits are a convenient, worthwhile option for current patients who are generally in good health.
Within their personal MyChart online portal, patients can answer questions to decide if their health care needs can be met with an E-Visit or if it would be better to see their doctor in person.
E-Visits might be useful for health issues including:
- Allergic rhinitis (seasonal allergies)
- Back pain
- Cold sores
- Cough
- Diarrhea (loose, watery bowel movements)
- Fatigue
- Gout
- Headache
- Heartburn
- Poison Ivy
- Red eye
- Sinus problems
- Travel advice
- Urinary problems
- Vaginal discharge/irritation
- Other
The cost of each E-Visit is $30 and will be billed directly to you. We are not billing insurance for E-Visits at this time. If your E-Visit is denied, you will not be charged.
Doctors can prescribe medication or other treatment options for your health issue, as they relate to your E-Visit.
Though E-Visits are interactive, they are not in real-time, and there is no video component.
