Joshua Ordway, MD, Places Third in Columbus Marathon
DAYTON, Ohio (October 21, 2013) – Joshua Ordway, MD, placed third in the Columbus Marathon, which took place October 20th. Dr. Ordway’s time of 2 hours 22 minutes and 46 seconds placed him first in his age division.
Dr. Ordway recently returned to the Greater Dayton area to open Franklin Family Practice, a Premier HealthNet practice. An Ohioan native, Ordway began his undergraduate education at Princeton University on a cross country scholarship and went on to get his medical degree at Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University.
“I developed a love for running when I was in junior high,” Dr. Ordway said. “Over the years, it has been a way to relieve stress, spend time with my brother – who is also an avid runner – and now that I am a physician, it is a top priority to stay healthy as I get older.”
Franklin Family Practice – located in Franklin Square Office Center – serves Franklin and the neighboring communities of Springboro, Middletown and Carlisle. Dr. Ordway can often be seen out and about in the Franklin community enjoying runs in the neighborhoods as a way to stay healthy and train for upcoming races.
