Sally McIntyre, MD, Bestowed Patient’s Choice Award

DAYTON, Ohio (November 14, 2013) – Sally McIntyre, MD, of Belmont Physicians in Dayton has been given the prestigious Patient’s Choice Award for her patients’ appreciation for quality of care and service. Only five percent of the 870,000 active physicians who are rated on a regular basis through online surveys and sites are given this high honor.

According to Vitals.com, every month, more than 200,000 patients across the country provide online feedback about their doctor experiences. They rate various components of the care they receive, such as bedside manner, doctor-patient face time, ease of appointment setting and courtesy of office staff. They also share their overall opinions.

Hundreds of thousands of patient reviews were written and shared throughout 2013, but only a select group of physicians including Dr. McIntyre received near perfect scores. Dr. McIntyre attended medical school at Case Western Reserve Medical School and did her residency at Michael Reece Hospital in Chicago. She has been practicing as an internal medicine physician for 23 years and is part of Premier HealthNet.
