Anita J. Moore Named Chair of Premier Health Board of Trustees

Dayton, OH (May 17, 2016) – The Premier Health Board of Trustees has named Anita J. Moore as chair. Ms. Moore has been a member of the board since 2012, and also served as the president of the Miami Valley Hospital Board. She has had a successful career, most recently as the vice president of human resources for The Berry Company, an entity of AT&T, where she worked for 25 years. She retired from the company in 2008.

“We are so pleased that Anita continues to accept leadership roles at Premier, and becoming chair of the board is of benefit to our organization and the entire community,” says Jim Pancoast, Premier Health CEO. “Anita’s professional experience and her commitment as a community volunteer provides us with an incredible level of expertise.”

Ms. Moore has been a committed community advocate, serving in many leadership roles. In addition to her volunteer positions at Premier, she serves on the Board of Trustees for County Corp, The Dayton Foundation, and the Montgomery County Workforce Investment Board. She was instrumental in working to launch and lead Dayton Diversity and Inclusion Partners and has participated in leadership positions with Dayton Area Recruiting Alliance (DARA), and was a member of the Miami Valley Senior Human Resource Roundtable.

In 2014, Ms. Moore was honored by the Dayton YWCA as a Woman of Influence. She has made presentations for numerous organizations and has been a valued mentor for many. She attended Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, and completed the University of Michigan Business School’s Human Resource Executive Program. She resides in Kettering with her husband, James.
