Premier Health Names Jennifer Hauler, DO Chief Medical Officer of Northern Region
DAYTON, Ohio (February 22, 2017) – Jennifer Hauler, DO, has been named Vice President and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Northern Region for Premier Health with responsibilities for Miami Valley Hospital North (as of July 23, 2018) and Upper Valley Medical Center. Promoted from her most recent role as CMO of Upper Valley Medical Center to undertake this newly created position, she also fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Good Samaritan Hospital’s (closed in 2018) CMO Dr. Daniel Schoulties. Dr. Hauler will be based at Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018) and will oversee all medical staff related issues.
A lifelong resident of Tipp City, Dr. Hauler received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also completed a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She is board certified in both family medicine and emergency medicine.
Dr. Hauler is a paramedic instructor and currently serves as medical director of the Troy and Vandalia fire departments. She previously served as medical director of the Huber Heights Emergency Department and as vice chair of family medicine at Grandview Hospital. She is past president of the Dayton District Academy of Osteopathic Medicine and secretary/treasurer of the Ohio Osteopathic Association.
