Surgery Residents Vote Dr. Kadakia a Favorite Professor

Every year, surgery residents who are graduating from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine vote for a teacher whom they most enjoyed working with. This year, that teacher was Sameep Kadakia, MD, of Premier ENT Associates.

During the past school year, the residents each spent time with Dr. Kadakia. “I teach them how to think about caring for each patient before, during, and after surgery,” he says. “My goal is to give them a good understanding of head and neck cancer and reconstruction.

In addition to his work with Premier ENT Associates, Dr. Kadakia is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery and in the Department of Surgery at the school.

“Since I’m only 10 months into my practice, I feel like it’s such a blessing to be the recipient of an award like this,” says Dr. Kadakia.
