Why is it important to diagnose and treat peripheral arterial disease (PAD)?

Symptoms of peripheral arterial disease can include no symptoms to severe debility from inability to walk because of severe discomfort. More importantly, having PAD increases your risk of having heart attack and stroke and therefore it’s important to get it diagnosed and appropriately treated.
