Well hopefully as people age and they set their New Year’s resolutions they understand, probably if they’re like me and most people, they’ve failed many of them in the past. They key as we get to understand ourselves better is to set very short, little goals that you can accomplish. When it’s about lifestyle changes, it’s really about those little things that add up over time. You don’t need to quit eating everything bad overnight and live a perfectly healthy lifestyle. I think if we do that we’re just setting ourselves up for failure. So just look at something that is very possible for you to accomplish especially within the first week and then tell yourself after that week is done, ‘I can set another goal.’
