What groups of people are high-risk during flu season?
Those people who are high risk for influenza during flu season include immune compromised folks who may be undergoing chemotherapy or they have a true immune suppressive condition underlying. Elderly, 65 and older, anybody of any age with chronic heart or lung condition, and young children less than two. Less than six, they are not candidates for influenza vaccination as well as the fact that their immune system has not developed.
