I mean, if this infection hadn’t been caught, who knows where I would be today.
I was in the golf tournament at Wildwood, the second day of the tournament on the first hole, on my second swing I had a probably about 180 yard shot into the wind and I was on the side of the hill. It was a little dewy in the morning and I thought well, if I use this five wood I might be able to get on the green and two, win a point for the team. Well, I took too much of an aggressive swing and with the footing on the side hill being wet I went down and tore my ACL.
So, we finally got a surgeon to perform the bilateral knee replacement and that was on July 19th and the procedure went well. Right knee here is doing really well but the left knee seemed to have issues.
To make a long story short, in October with the left knee not being totally healed or whatever, we perceived there to be a problem and we finally got that surgeon to perform a blood test and sure enough the left knee got an infection.
Well, the following day I called Dr. Albright and he got me in right away. I mean it's just unbelievable how accommodating Dr. Albright is. I got there at 7:30 in the morning, he saw me, he aspirated my left knee and then the following day he says, "Yeah, the infection never went away."
These guys, they're pros. They're absolute pros at what they do. Even in the hospital, it was great. Dr. Davis, we had all the family around there, we prayed together which was really comforting to me. I couldn't ... I was just so overwhelmed with gratefulness that he wanted God to train his hand.
My life is back. It’s back. And I owe it all to Dr. Albright and Dr. Davis and the other professionals here at Premier.
