Cubital tunnel has several different symptoms that patients can experience. The first things that they typically experience, and numbness and tingling, running down from their elbow, down into to their ring finger and small finger. Many times patients feel these symptoms at night, and that occurs because it gets worse when their elbows are bent. So, typically, that numbness and tingling, when people are bending their elbows during sleep, causes the nerve to get more pinched; and causes more numbness and tingling.
Later symptoms, of more of a chronic nerve compression result in weakness in the hand, weakness in the grip and weakness in pinch strength.
