It was wonderful when you can walk in a circle around the house, and you're not gasping.
I would swallow and you would feel like you had food caught sometimes and it doesn’t go down very well. And basically, you know I had a stomach ache, just uncomfortable, I just felt uncomfortable.
I was breathing, panting, I could not walk from one room to the next without ... It was getting worse because what happens is your stomach, goes up through your diaphragm and the more it goes up, the more it cuts you off. He said your next visit will be upstairs with Dr. Lowry so he made the appointment. I saw Dr. Lowry, talked everything over, and set a date.
Dr. Lowery is excellent. He is excellent. He talks to you, he is never in a hurry, he answers all your questions, he is very, very thorough because at one point I said, "Can I see what it looks like?" Because he was explaining everything and the size and that, and he showed me. He said just come over here. He pulled up the x-rays. He showed me exactly where it was, how big it was, everything. He said, "Now you are going to be having surgery and he said you're going to have robotic surgery." I said, "Robotic surgery?" And he said, "Yes." I said, "You really and truly use a robot?" And he said, " Yes, we will use a robot."
I can breathe, I can eat, I can do anything I want. I'm very fortunate in that.
Premier Health set me up wherever I needed to go, whether it be the tests, whatever. They did it in a very, very timely manner because there was not a test that I took, that I had to wait longer than maybe four days. It was unbelievable. It was unbelievable.
There is no reason in this world for anybody to suffer when it can be taken care of this easily.
