If someone has a concussion, some of the things they can do to help it get better and help alleviate the symptoms, certainly the most important is just resting. With any kind of traumatic brain injury or concussion, the brain isn’t entirely capable of its normal function so sometimes the very routine things will bother people. Sleeping is no longer a problem . . . like the old days when they used to have people woken up on the hour to make sure they’re okay . . . that’s really gone by the wayside. We prefer to let people sleep, let them rest and keep them from getting stimulation to their brain of any sort.
