Why is honesty so important when it comes to previous injuries or medical issues?

It’s essential the athlete be completely honest with their physician, as it is that every patient be honest with their physician so the athlete can have all their problems addressed whether it’s recurrent concussions, recurrent knee injuries, an ongoing injury that hasn’t resolved or a surgical injury they are recovering from.
