30 Heart Specialists Collaborate to Form Premier Cardiovascular Institute
With 30 heart specialists working together, the newly created Premier Cardiovascular Institute will help to ensure that when it comes to matters of your heart, you won’t miss a beat. This new institute brings together diverse cardiovascular specialists from these practices: Dayton Heart Center, Miami Valley Cardiologists, The Premier Heart Associates and Upper Valley Cardiology (Upper Valley Cardiology will be officially joining Premier Cardiovascular Institute on 1/1/2019). Together, the newly formed team will diagnose, treat and provide ongoing care for:
- Cardiovascular disease
- Echocardiography
- Electrophysiology
- Interventional cardiology
- Valve disease
- Vascular disease
Patients will benefit not only from the team’s collaborative approach, but also from the advanced technology available at offices conveniently located throughout Southwest Ohio.
The Premier Cardiovascular Institute team is made stronger with the recent addition of these two specialists:
Anurag Singh, MD, FACC, FHRS, specializes in electrophysiology and cardiology and is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiology and electrophysiology. He is a graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College at the University of Delhi (India). Dr. Singh completed his residency at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center at Cornell University in New York, and completed fellowships at University of Alabama at Birmingham and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He previously worked for Texas Tech Physicians, the medical practice of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.
Muhanad Al-Zubaidi, MD, specializes in cardiology with board certification in nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. He is a graduate of University of Baghdad College of Medicine. Dr. Al-Zubaidi completed his residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and completed a fellowship at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He previously worked as a hospitalist at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix.
