Updates to Staffing and Scheduling

To better leverage our staffing and scheduling technology, Premier Health is making a concentrated effort to standardize staffing and scheduling practices for inpatient nursing departments across the system. As such, we are pleased to announce upgrades to our Staffing & Scheduling technology that have been designed to optimize and standardize the staffing and scheduling process, as well as to ensure that employees continue to have autonomy through self-directed scheduling.

In recent months, Staffing & Scheduling software at Miami Valley Hospital and Upper Valley Medical Center has been enhanced with features that improve the software’s capabilities for time off requests, shift trades, shift offers, holiday/weekend scheduling, and improve visibility to open shifts. Upgrades at Atrium Medical Center, Miami Valley Hospital North, and Miami Valley Hospital South are scheduled to take effect later this year. Please refer any questions to your manager.
