CME Save the Date – Geriatric Update in October

Geriatricians, primary care physicians, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and anyone who works with the older adult population are invited to register for an upcoming all-day geriatric symposium sponsored by Premier Health, Miami Valley Hospital Foundation, and Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation-Dayton.

The 2018 Geriatric Update will take place from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Oct. 10 in the Sinclair Conference Center, room 116, at Sinclair Community College, 444 W. Third St. in Dayton.

This continuing medical education symposium is designed to share evidence-based information to help clinicians provide exceptional care to our aging population. Topics will include:

  • Medication review and deprescribing techniques
  • Managing multiple chronic conditions
  • Promoting positive self-image and staying active while aging
  • Updates in geriatric cardiac care and respiratory care
  • Managing distress behaviors in older adults (delirium)
