Extended Availability of Outpatient Speech Language Pathology Services

Miami Valley Hospital North (MVHN) is pleased to announce that our outpatient rehabilitation Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services are now available full time. Services will be offered Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We are excited to welcome Vander Fields, our newly hired full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. Vander brings more than 17 years of experience across a variety of settings, including work as a traveling SLP throughout the United States. Vander specializes in outpatient care, focusing on speech, swallowing, and voice conditions.

Scheduling for this service can be done via an EPIC order/referral or a faxed referral, or the patient may schedule in-person at:

In addition to outpatient therapy, we will provide additional video fluoroscopy modified barium swallow studies in collaboration with our medical imaging partners on the first floor of MVHN, Main St. entrance.
