Fidelity Health Care Celebrates 40 Years of Serving Southwest Ohio

This year, Fidelity Health Care celebrates 40 years of serving Southwest Ohio. Founded in 1984, Fidelity Health Care started as a home care agency with a vision to care for its local community. Since then, Fidelity has increased its home care offerings to include Medical Equipment, Independent Care Services, and Home Infusion to better meet the needs of its patients. Fidelity further elevated its services by creating a specialty nurse program comprised of nurses certified in wound care, cardiac care, and infusion therapy.
As Fidelity Health Care grew, it expanded its range of health care services, beginning with Retail Pharmacies. In 2015, Premier Community Health joined Fidelity Health Care, bringing its valuable services, including Occupational Health, Employee Care, Workplace Wellness, Community Health, and a School Nurse Program. In addition to the services listed above, Fidelity Health Care provides after-hours services for Premier Physician Network (PPN) providers and manages the Premier Health Call Center. Most recently, Premier Community Benefits and Employee Health transitioned to Fidelity Health Care.
Looking Back: At Fidelity’s 2nd campus, celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Fidelity has outgrown its campus multiple times: from a small office and warehouse on Sandridge to a two-building location at 3832 Kettering Boulevard and finally to its current three-building location at 3170 Kettering Boulevard. Fidelity Health Care also operates Occupational and Employee Health clinics throughout the Greater Dayton region. Today, hundreds of Fidelity clinicians manage an average daily census of over 2,300 home care patients living across nine counties. The Medical Equipment division has over 4,200 active patients, and the Occupational Health clinics average 2,100 visits monthly. Fidelity now handles the flu vaccine program, new hire physicals, workplace injury care, and respirator fit testing for the entire Premier Health system. Fidelity Health Care’s growth exemplifies its commitment to providing excellent care and customer service to its proudly serving community.
