REMINDER: Medical Marijuana Survey Open Until September 30

In the August issue of Premier Pulse, I wrote about a medical marijuana survey planned for September. Premier Health is, for now, adopting a conservative approach that prohibits the use of medical marijuana in inpatient settings. Physicians practicing in an outpatient setting who have obtained a certificate to recommend in accordance with Ohio law will be able to recommend the use of medical marijuana. Premier Health’s stance will remain in place while we solicit input from key stakeholders.

While this subject is controversial, it is imperative that we understand your opinions and wishes to determine the right course for Premier Health.
