Dr. Mercedes Palmisano Joins Miami Valley Women’s Health
Mercedes Palmisano, MD, recently became the newest physician at Miami Valley Women’s Health, a Premier Physician Network practice.
In 2011, Dr. Palmisano earned her medical degree from the Wright State University (WSU) Boonshoft School of Medicine.
She also completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the WSU Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2015 before joining the practice, which has been caring for women in the Miami Valley for more than 30 years.
Dr. Palmisano specializes in high- and low-risk pregnancies, as well as minimally invasive hysteroscopic tubal ligation.
She believes in an inclusive approach to OB/GYN care that includes preventive health screenings, contraception counseling, mammography, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and various methods for hysterectomies.
Dr. Palmisano is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Miami Valley Women’s Health has one office at The Berry Women’s Center at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton and a second office at Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville.
