Hospital Amenities
Once you have safely delivered your patients to an emergency department, there are things you may need to do: complete paperwork, restock supplies, or just relax for a few minutes before the next call. Every Premier Health facility has a designated EMS room that is equipped to support you.
All emergency departments have EMS rooms with:
- Wi-Fi access
- Work stations with computers
- Printer/scanner/copier/fax
- Bathrooms
- Televisions
- Coffee
- Storage for EMS records
- Information about upcoming educational opportunities
Additional amenities vary depending upon location. Each location is equipped to manage HazMat incidents.

Atrium Medical Center
- EMS room entrance: through squad entrance foyer to the right

Atrium Service Capabilities
- Verified Level III Trauma Center and a Senior Emergency Center
- Accredited Chest Pain Center with advanced cardiovascular services, including interventional cardiology and electrophysiology
- Advanced primary stroke center certification from The Joint Commission
- Family Birth Center with Level II special care nursery and Natural Beginnings - Cincinnati's only natural birth center

Austin Boulevard Emergency Center
- EMS room entrance: inside the squad entrance, to the left

Austin Service Capabilities
- Twelve emergency beds, including two trauma bays, staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians from Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton's only Level I Trauma Center
- The Premier Health TeleStroke Network, for faster access to stroke treatment
- Lab and imaging services, including CT and X-ray
- CareFlight Air and Mobile Services for fast transport if hospitalization is needed

Beavercreek Emergency Center

Jamestown Emergency Center
- EMS room entrance: turn right through squad entrance doors; room to the right
- Additional amenities: two computers, equipment lockers located on both sides of the ambulance entrance foyer
Jamestown Service Capabilities
- 24-hour, full-service emergency center with 10 beds with one trauma room for patient care
- Offers care for minor to severe injuries, including heart attack, stroke and trauma, with access to CareFlight Air and Mobile Services for quick transport if a higher level of care is needed
- Advanced cardiac monitoring capability and medical imaging on the premises
- Latest in equipment and innovations, including the Premier Health Telestroke Network, tPA capable which connects patients in real time with stroke specialist using a computer with a monitor and video camera.

Miami Valley Hospital

MVHN Service Capabilities
- Full-service, 24-hour emergency care with 22 emergency beds, staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians from Miami Valley Hospital
- Breast Center, staffed with an on-site surgeon and radiologist which provides timely diagnosis and individual treatment is a Designated Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology
- Surgery Center, which offers multi-specialty outpatient procedures
- The Well-Being Center, which features aerobics, Pilates, yoga, and massage
- Rehab programs for cardiac & pulmonary, vestibular, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and oncology; physical therapy including hand therapy; and sports medicine programs provide individualized care plans for patient needs, goals, and schedules
