U.S. News & World Report: Miami Valley Hospital Tops in Southwest Ohio

Hospital Ranks 4th in Ohio, Leads Cincinnati-Dayton Region for Second Straight Year

DAYTON, Ohio (August 14, 2018) – Miami Valley Hospital ranked fourth among Ohio’s hospitals in the latest annual rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report. For the second consecutive year, the hospital achieved the highest ranking in the Cincinnati-Dayton region.

Miami Valley Hospital also ranked nationally in three adult specialties: pulmonology care (28th); nephrology care (48th); and diabetes and endocrinology care (49th).

The hospital ranked as “high-performing” in 14 additional areas of care: cardiology and heart surgery; gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery; geriatrics; neurology and neurosurgery; orthopedics; urology; aortic valve surgery; heart bypass surgery; heart failure; colon cancer surgery; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); hip replacement; knee replacement; and lung cancer surgery.
