Marigold House: A New Option for Senior Living

The SpringMeade Retirement Community offers a new residential extended care option – the Marigold House – that provides family-style living for up to five seniors who need companionship and assistance with daily living.

Each Marigold House resident has their own private space and can enjoy the companionship of others in the common areas of the home.

The spacious Marigold House is beautifully and comfortably appointed, featuring five furnished private bedrooms and bathrooms, four common areas where guests can visit, an enclosed solarium and patio, and a full-service kitchen and kitchenette.

This homelike environment adds to the range of senior care services provided on the SpringMeade campus – serving as a transition between the beautiful independent living coach homes of SpringMeade Residence and the extended nursing care and rehabilitation care provided at SpringMeade Health Center.

Providing companionship, meals, laundry service and hygiene assistance, the Marigold House provides a transition for:

SpringMeade independent living residents when they begin needing help with activities of daily living
SpringMeade Health Center patients, when they progress to no longer needing the level of care provided at the Health Center

As it does not provide medical administration, the Marigold House is a step down from assisted living care. Located within the safety and security of the SpringMeade campus, on a quiet cul-de-sac, the Marigold House offers residents the following services and amenities:

24/7 care and companionship
Aid with hygiene and self-administration of medication
Home-cooked meals prepared by Marigold House staff members, who are nearby when residents need assistance
Snacks provided, including personal favorites
Bed linens and towels provided with full laundry services
Housekeeping and maintenance
Numerous community activities and outings
Cable TV and Wi-Fi
Scenic paved paths made for easy walking, alone or with family and friends
