Before you can be scheduled for Premier Health outpatient nutrition counseling, your health care provider must make a medical referral for you.

You can start the process by asking your doctor whether nutrition counseling or diet education could be helpful in treating your medical condition. And, if so, ask your doctor to refer you for Premier Health outpatient nutrition counseling, also known as medical nutrition therapy.

Once the referral is received, Premier Health Central Scheduling will call you to schedule your appointment at any of these locations:

The Comprehensive Cancer Center of Miami Valley Hospital South offers its own nutritional counseling for patients being treated there.
