Miami Valley Hospital’s Level I Trauma Center
Miami Valley Hospital’s Level I Trauma Center, verified by the American College of Surgeons, provides care around the clock for the most seriously injured patients in 17 counties in southwest Ohio and east Indiana. Each year more than 3,300 major trauma patients receive care in our emergency rooms after injuries from vehicle crashes, industrial accidents, penetrating trauma or falls. Our Adult Burn Center treats patients with burns of every severity level.

Atrium Medical Center’s Level III Trauma Center
Atrium Medical Center’s Level III Trauma Center, also verified by the American College of Surgeons, has been providing trauma care to Butler, Warren and surrounding counties for more than 18 years. As the only Trauma Center in Warren County and Middletown, Atrium provides immediate assessment, resuscitation, and care for seriously injured patients in Southwest Ohio. Patients receive care and treatment in one of two dedicated trauma bays. Many critically injured trauma patients remain at Atrium and complete their inpatient hospital stay at Atrium keeping them close to home.

Upper Valley Medical Center’s Level III Trauma Center
Upper Valley Medical Center is Miami County’s only Level III Trauma Center, designated by the Ohio Department of Public Safety. The trauma center treats patients with traumatic injuries from vehicle collisions, industrial accidents, falls, and other serious events in Troy and surrounding communities. Many critically injured trauma patients remain at Upper Valley Medical Center to complete their inpatient hospital stay, keeping them close to home.
