A Multidisciplinary Approach to Pain Care

Because our pain centers are part of Premier Health, you’re cared for by a wide network of pain care professionals. Your team includes board-certified physician pain specialists, clinical nurse specialists, physical therapists, and other professionals with specialized training. Our goal is to manage chronic pain using non-narcotic medications. We also use new pain control options that can stop or reduce a reliance on drugs. Our pain specialists will work with your doctor to develop a pain treatment plan.

The Miami Valley Hospital Pain Center is the first adult hospital in the country to receive Joint Commission accreditation for doing just that. Miami Valley Hospital is the first hospital in the U.S. to become disease-certified by The Joint Commission for the prevention of chronic intractable pain. We also have the region’s only Level I trauma center so you have access to immediate care when you need it. You can count on us to help you manage your pain.

Pain may make driving or riding in a car difficult. Fortunately, Premier Health has several pain center locations available to you in Southwest Ohio. The Miami Valley Hospital Pain Center offers two locations with both outpatient and inpatient services that can help reduce both your acute and chronic pain. Atrium Medical Center also offers a high level of outpatient pain management.
