Ingredients
- 3 ripe (soft to touch) avocados
- 1 lime
- 1 small jalapeno (seeded & chopped)
- 1/2 small onion (diced)
- 1 teaspoon cumin spice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (or garlic powder)
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes)
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped (or 1 teaspoon refrigerated cilantro paste)
Instructions
- Cut avocados in half, remove pit, and put flesh in medium bowl. Add jalapeno and onion.
- Mash together with a fork until all blended and large chunks of avocado are mashed.
- Squeeze juice of lime over mixture. Add in spices and herbs.
- Give one final mix with fork to incorporate all ingredients.
- Chill in refrigerator until ready to use.
- Will keep well if sealed in refrigerator for up to 5 days. Can be frozen and thawed in refrigerator.
- Use to dip chips, top potatoes or salads, put on tacos, burritos or toast!
