Ingredients
- 1 pound lean (93%) ground beef or turkey
- 2 bell peppers (green, red, orange)
- 2 large carrots, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 15-ounce can low-sodium beans (black, kidney, great northern)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook meat until thoroughly browned. Drain off excess fat and add to Crock Pot.
- Add bell peppers, carrots, onion, celery, crushed tomatoes, garlic, cumin, chili powder, and paprika. Stir to evenly combine all ingredients.
- Cook on low for 4 hours. Add beans and cook for an additional 1 hour until beans are cooked.
- Stir together and remove from Crock Pot. Serve and enjoy!
