Diagnosis
Gynecologic cancer diagnosis involves a combination of investigative methods that may include a pelvic exam, Pap test,
tissue biopsy, and varied advanced imaging tools.
These methods and tools help us stage and grade
your cancer to understand how aggressive your tumor is and whether cancer cells have spread to other parts of your body. Cancer spreads by growing from its original site into surrounding tissue or by being carried to other body parts through your
blood or lymph system.
From here, we develop a personalized treatment plan that offers the best chance of fighting your specific cancer.
