Community First
Premier Health embraces its mission to improve the health of the communities we serve.
You don’t have to look far to find plenty of evidence of how we are making a measurable difference in the lives of local residents, whether it’s at Miami Valley Hospital, with an additional site at Miami Valley Hospital South; Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018); Atrium Medical Center; Upper Valley Medical Center; or more than 100 other sites of service.
Through outreach and partnership, we are increasingly striving to keep people well, in addition to our more traditional role of caring for the ill among us.
In these pages of our annual Community Impact Report, you’ll find stories that exemplify those efforts.
Inheriting Hope
The Promise to Hope program
focuses on caring for expectant moms and meeting the public health crisis of opiate addiction at its source.
Enriching the Spirit
Good Samaritan
Health Ministries has served as a significant source of resources, support and encouragement for local faith communities as they work to promote the overall health of their members.
Something to Smile About
Upper
Valley Medical Center continues its partnership with six other Miami County health-related organizations to improve local residents’ health and well-being through grant funding.
First Steps Toward Self-Sufficiency
The Premier Health/Atrium Medical Center Baby Pantry, part of the Parent Resource Center in Middletown, helps parents stay on their journey to self-sufficiency.
Invested in Prevention
Premier
Health is poised to care for the critically injured when serious accidents happen – but our trauma outreach and preventative efforts work to keep residents safe and out of harm’s way in the first place.
