Patient Education

Premier Health is committed to providing high-quality education and experience for our patients, families, and community to ensure the health and well-being of those we serve across the continuum of care including pre-hospitalization, inpatient, outpatient, discharge instructions, home care, and community needs. 

Patient Education is patient-friendly and in various languages, is consistent across Premier Health including the spectrum of care, and is evidence-based.

The Premier Health system program manager for Patient and Family Education supports the organization by optimizing the utilization of patient educational tools and resources, provides oversight for transformational initiatives, team culture and patient experience, and supports the achievement of meaningful use.

Patient education is delivered in various ways to meet the cultural, diversity, and learning needs of our patients and family members, utilizing resources and tools such as face-to-face consultation, written patient education from approved sources, MyChart, patient portal, and In Room TV interactive system.
