Occupational therapy is available to you if you’re hospitalized, and is also available to you if you’re recovering at home or at a care facility. It can be provided short-term or long-term.
Outpatient Occupational Therapy
The goal of outpatient occupational therapy is to help you return to your daily, normal activities, beginning with day-to-day tasks and working toward things such as knitting, exercising, woodworking, or recreational outdoor tasks.
